BBYO and JCC Teen Programs

BBYO

B’nai Brith Youth Organization’s T’sahal Chapter is based at the JCC of Central NJ!

In many communities across North America and around the world, Jewish teens find their home with co-ed BBYO chapters. Every other Wednesday night from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m., Jewish teens can join super fun, social BBYO events at the JCC and in our community – in addition to regional and international events to connect with other Jewish teens from around NJ and the world.

Follow T’sahal on Instagram @tsahalbbyo for the most up-to-date information on events. Email Jolie Saltiel, [email protected] with any questions about joining. Teens can attend up to three chapter events before joining BBYO as a lifetime member.

A Special Event for Teens and Their Families
Stories Survive Speaker Series: Frances Malkin

Sunday, April 12 • 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Fran Malkin was born in Sokal, near Lvov, Poland in 1938.  In spring 1941, Germany invaded Poland. When they came into Sokal, 400 Jewish men, including Fran’s father, were taken to a brick factory and shot. Fran was two years old.

In the fall of 1942, her remaining family went into hiding. They were among sixteen people who were hidden for two years in the hayloft of a barn by Francisca Halamajowa.

Hear Fran tell her remarkable story followed by Q&A.

This is a free event in partnership with BBYO
