An amazing effort which has given grandparents the opportunity to connect and engage, not only with their grandchildren, but with friends and community too. We meet with authors, listen to stories, watch movies, do art projects and so much more! We gather together to enjoy Jewish tradition and get together for Shabbat celebrations. And we always have more in store!  Join this fun, joyful group.

The Stories Are Ours: from Grandparents to Grandchildren

It's not just a journey into the past, it's an investment in the present and the future.

The stories you have tell so much about who you are and where you’ve been. Providing a way to help you share your stories with your grandchildren can strengthen your special bond. Consider this workshop for you and your grandchildren aged 11-12. Professional Storyteller/Facilitator Susan Stone, from the Jewish Grandparents Network, will help you share and document your treasured memories with your grandchildren – capturing your family’s legacy and values and building identity and pride.

There is no cost for this program, but registration is required at www.jccnj.org by November 11. Register early, space is limited.

Each group will consist of one grandparent and one grandchild. We ask that all groups participate in all three sessions. You may register more than one group per family.
