Please note participants must be Jewish and between the ages of 9-12 as of August 1, 2025. (Mini Maccabi is for 9 and 10 year olds, Junior Maccabi is for 11 and 12 year olds.)

Transportation to Cherry Hill on your own; athletes only will be bussed to satellite locations. 

About Junior and Mini Maccabi

The Mid-Atlantic Mini and Junior Maccabi Games is a one-day tournament for Jewish athletes who are 9-12. Close to 1,000 Jewish athletes from 20 JCCs across the Mid-Atlantic compete. The games help prepare the athletes for the JCC Maccabi Games. Mini Maccabi is for ages 9-10 and Junior Maccabi is for ages 11-12.

2024 Junior and Mini Maccabi Recap 

On Sunday, May 5, 2024, our JCC delegation of 55 Jewish athletes ages 9-12 years old attended the Mid Atlantic Mini and Junior Maccabi games, hosted by the Siegel JCC in Wilmington, DE. There were 750 athletes from 18 different northeast JCCs.

We competed in soccer, basketball and swim. Our swim team finished 2nd place overall and won 11 total medals. Our soccer team, mixed with athletes from Harrisburg, Bridgewater and Delaware won the silver medal.
