Grown-up and Me

Grown-up and Me classes give young families the opportunity to take part in the JCC’s warm and welcoming Early Childhood community. It's a great way to connect with other young families, make friends and keep you and your little ones entertained.

No membership required!

All classes are at Congregation Beth Israel, 1920 Cliffwood Street (18 Shalom Way) in Scotch Plains – down the block from the JCC.

Sensory Play – ages 10-18 months

Mondays • April 13 - June 8 (no class on 5/25) • 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Join Ms. Julie in this fun sensory play class! Your child will be engaged as they explore their senses through music, story time, play, and movement.

Fit4Mom- Stroller Strides

Tuesdays • April 14 - June 9 • 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Grown-ups, join us for a workout that includes strength, cardio and core training, all while engaging your little one in a stroller!

Baby Bandstand – Ages Newborn – 3 years old

Wednesdays • April 15 - June 10 • 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Join Baby Bandstand for an engaging music experience that infuses speech and language activities, literacy, and instruments.

Science and Nature- Ages 18-30 Months

Thursdays • April 16 - June 11 • 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.

Come enjoy the spring weather with your little one as they explore nature and science concepts using games, songs, stories, simple experiments and activities! (Classes will be indoors if weather is inclement.)

Baby and Me Yoga – Designed for Babies Who Are Not Yet Crawling

Fridays • April 17 - June 12 (no class 5/8 and 5/22) • 10:15 - 11:00 a.m.

Join Tovah Yoga for a chance to connect with your body and baby! Each week, you will enjoy stretching, strengthening, and de-stressing! No prior yoga experience necessary.

Community Shabbat

FREE!

Fridays • April 17 - June 12 (no class 5/8 and 5/22) • 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Join us each week to celebrate Shabbat together! We’ll sing, dance, and enjoy challah with our little ones!
