Calling all future architects and engineers! Students will build and program simple machines and robots using LEGO WeDo 2.0 kits, K’NEX, and other engineering software. Your child will be challenged to use problem-solving skills and teamwork throughout the semester. Sanitized computers and equipment will be provided, as needed. Using software while working on PCs and laptops, students will be able to program the model builds they craft using our custom TEKI Curriculum and LEGO® Education products. A Star is Born 1 - Ages 3-4

A Star is Born focuses on pre-ballet techniques, pre-tumbling and creative movement with an introduction to basic ballet terminology. Dancers will work on fine motor skills such as balancing on one foot and moving multiple body parts at the same time.

Recreational Jazz - Age 6-9

Recreational Jazz teaches dynamic movement which focuses on flexibility, isolations, rhythm and leaps and turns – all in a high-energy setting.

Kidz Bop - Ages 4-6

Dancers will learn basic hip hop terminology and techniques. This high energy class also teaches different styles of hip hop and breakdancing.

Logistics Information:

• JCC enrichment classes are an added enhancement to your child's JCC experience after their school day is over.
• If your child is enrolled in our school, we will bring them to their enrichments at their school dismissal time. For example, if your child's school day ends at 2:45, we can bring them to a 2:45 p.m. enrichment. Parents will need to pick their children up at the end of the enrichment class. 
• Students who are signed up for late stay or After School at the J can take part in our after school enrichments and may either return to their late stay classroom when the enrichment class is done or they may be picked up to go home.
• We will bring any of these children to their enrichment class from their program and back to their program when their enrichment class ends.
