Music and Performances

TLV Band
TLV will perform at 1:50 p.m.
TLV is the premier Israeli music cover band in the U.S.A!
As past audience members have said:

Tekes (Ceremony) to Celebrate Israel
This tekes is scheduled for 12:45 p.m.
Join the Union County Vaad and area Synagogue leaders to celebrate Israel with a ceremony filled with poetry, music, reflections and the singing of Hatikvah as we celebrate Israel's 75th anniversary.

Silly Joe Sings!
Silly Joe will perform at 12:20 p.m. and again at 2:40 p.m.
Silly Joe entertains audiences with high-energy songs about the everyday lives of kids and families. With a guitar, a loud voice, a wig, a kazoo, boxer shorts, and a lot of silly body movements, Silly Joe keeps everyone involved in the show.

Israeli Dance Show with Reut Segall of Smiles 'n Sweat
Reut will perform at 3:05 p.m.
Israeli dance genres: Hora, Chasidic, Debkah, Yemenite, contemporary, hip-hop - a colorful show with unique dances and music pieces.

The Western Wall at the JCC

Come visit our Western Wall, write your prayer or your deepest hope and post it on our wall. Prayers and hopes posted on the real Western Wall in Israel are said to have the “ear of G-d.”

Planting a tree in Israel in memory or honor of a loved one is a time-honored tradition. And planting trees is one of the most important things we can do to contribute to the health of the planet. Come to our garden and plant a sapling that you can transplant in your own backyard.

Parking

Parking for BIG DAY Out will be offsite at Union County VoTech (1776 Raritan Road in Scotch Plains). There will shuttle buses back and forth to the JCC. Shuttles begin at 11:45 p.m. and run through 4:15 p.m. Handicapped accessible parking will be available at the JCC on that day.
