Hanukkurious – Fun and Learning About the Festival of Lights

Whether it's been a while since you've lit a menorah or you're about to celebrate Hanukkah for the first time, come learn all about the Festival of Lights’ history and traditions in a warm, judgment-free space with other Hanukkah-curious families. With yummy foods and interactive games for all ages, you'll leave with a better understanding about the holiday and be ready to party with your loved ones this December and for years to come. This is a great opportunity for interfaith families.

Grandchild/Grandparent Menorah Making with Sunnyside Studios (ages 3+)

Sunday, December 7 • 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Let's get ready for Hanukkah! Each child will get their own wooden menorah base with all the materials to sand, paint and decorate! They will also get to create fun candles. Grandparents get to help! Entertainment for all to wrap up this great workshop.

Olive oil is a central part of the Hanukkah story and miracle of the Festival of Lights. The JCC invites you to experience an olive oil tasting at Patricia and Paul (20 Elm Street in Westfield) any day between 12/15 and 12/20 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Mention the JCC for the tasting and enjoy a 15% shopping discount during that time.
