The Jewish South by Shari Rabin traces Jewish life in the American South from the colonial era through the Civil Rights Movement. Drawing on letters, diaries, and historical records, Rabin shows how Southern Jews navigated acceptance as white Americans while confronting antisemitism and engaging with issues of slavery, segregation and civil rights. Proud partner of Jewish Book Council.
