Eli Sharabi endured a grueling 491 days in Hamas captivity, all the while holding onto the hope that he would one day be free and reunited with his loved ones.

Join Linda Scherzer, Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ’s Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), for a powerful conversation as she discusses with Eli what life was like in captivity, and how he survived hunger, heartache, and fear through sheer strength, resilience, and an unbreakable will to live.

This rare opportunity offers a firsthand account of unwavering courage in the face of unimaginable darkness. The conversation will explore deeply personal experiences and may not be suitable for children.
