So many of you enjoyed this class, we're bringing it back...now with more sessions!  Whether you’re picking up where you left off or just beginning to explore your voice on the page, What’s Your Story? is a warm, welcoming space to write, reflect and connect with others. 

In this interactive workshop, led by an experienced facilitator, Stephanie Karp, you’ll gain the tools and techniques necessary for effective written storytelling. This workshop – inspired by Ann Lamott’s Bird by Bird and Marion Roach Smith’s The Memoir Project – will help you uncover stories waiting to be told and strengthen your voice on the page. 

You’re welcome to sign up for one, two or all three sessions. While the format will remain consistent across all classes, each session will feature fresh writing exercises and new prompts. You’ll find new inspiration and community in every class.  No matter where you are on your journey, this is a space to deepen your creativity, connect with fellow writers and fully embrace the writer’s life. Join us and bring your stories to life. 

Stephanie Karp has founded a vibrant writing community in Westfield, New Jersey. Since 2018, Shut Up and Write Westfield has served as a home for writers throughout our area. Stephanie’s work has appeared in HuffPost, Parents Magazine, Parents Expecting, Fit Pregnancy, and Connect Magazine. Her memoir-in-progress explores the challenges and ultimate triumph of adopting her son from Kazakhstan.
