Before the great black migration from the south, Harlem was the third largest Jewish settlement in the world. Learn why the Jews selected Harlem as their residence in the 1880s. Marty will talk about the many well-known Jewish individuals who resided in Harlem as well as discuss Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, which was originally Temple Israel.
