In recognition of Holocaust Remembrance Day, we will watch a film interview with Holocaust survivor, Greta Bauer, on the occasion of her 100th birthday in 2011. Greta, her husband Dr. Paul Bauernfreund and son Ulrich fled from Vienna,
Austria in 1939. Paul had been held in the Buchenwald concentration camp prior to his miraculous release. Dr. Ulrich Bauer, Dan Bauer, Greta’s grandson and producer of the film, along with Suzanne Miller, Greta’s daughter and JCC member, will be present to discuss their family’s journey.
