Comedy for Peace
Thursday, February 29, 2024
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
1391 Martine Avenue
Scotch Plains, NJ
Join us for this stellar line-up of comedians – it will be a night filled with laughter, nosh and drinks. We’ll laugh and leave with the realization that we share much more in common than meets the eye! And just in case you were wondering…Comedy for Peace is not a political show.
Steve Marshall is a New York-based Jewish American comedian, actor and writer.
Gibran Saleem, born in North Carolina and raised in Virginia in a Pakistani household, is a Muslim American comedian. He is the only comedian to ever be chosen as a finalist for both the Stand-Up NBC and NBC Late Night program.
Erik Angel, an Israeli-Jewish comedian, is founder/producer of Comedy for Peace. He offers a high energy, surprising and clever comedy that deals with being a recent immigrant,
fortyish, newlywed and English-falafel 24/7 speaker.
Ashley Morris is a New York based comedian, actress and writer who performs regularly at New York’s Gotham Comedy Club. She has appeared on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Prodigal Son and will be appearing on the upcoming Netflix Sketch Show starring Eliza Shlesinger.
Comedy for Peace is a project that aims to unite Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities through humor and mutual understanding. The project brings together the best Christian, Muslim and Jewish stand-up comedians for an inspiring, funny and unforgettable evening.
