Why is this famous painting considered the “Viennese Mona Lisa”? Sheryl will introduce us to the man and artist Gustav Klimt, who painted many Jewish wealthy young women from high society at the turn of the century in Vienna, Austria. We will discuss the Jewish influence on that city at the beginning of the 20th century. The talk will visit the time of his life through his paintings and get to know the man who loved gold. Sponsored by the Van Winkle Foundation.
