In this lecture, we will explore the many ways the Americas have shared geology, foods, flora and fauna with the Old World and vice versa.  Some of the varied topics to be explored: plate tectonics, the Ice Age, human migration, plants, animals,
diseases, technology and culture. The result of these exchanges has helped create the world we live in today. Sponsored by The Union County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
