Yvette Neisser will read from and discuss her latest book, Iron into Flower, which traces a woman’s journey from love and marriage to divorce, depression, rebirth and self-discovery. Along the way, her poems – described as “confident and accessible” – explore Jewish culture and identity through topics ranging from faith and rituals, to her family’s Holocaust history, to current events in Israel and the Middle East. Neisser is the author of a previous book of poems and former lecturer at The George
