This one-act semi-autobiographical play was written by the actor Apollo Dukakis dedicated to the memory of his late sister, the beloved and legendary Academy Award winning stage and film actress Olympia Dukakis. It depicts their turbulent and rambunctious, but deeply loving, relationship with dark humor, wit and a shared understanding. The author wrote the play to be performed by brother and sister but the star passed away in May of 2021. Both were longtime residents of Montclair, New Jersey and founded the groundbreaking The Whole Theater Company there that lasted for 19 years (1973-1991). It is only fitting that they return to this state in this form with gratitude for its support and to celebrate their remarkable bond and love
for the arts that flourished here. The sister is played by Kandis Chappell and the brother is played by Apollo Dukakis. Sponsored by The Westfield Foundation.
