Join historian and author Ethel Washington as she speaks about her book Union County Black Americans. Ms. Washington has spent most of her career in various cultural institutions, including the Newark Museum, Montclair Art Museum, the Cooper-Hewitt, the National Design Museum and Smithsonian Institution in New York City.
This program is in partnership with The Black Student Alliance at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, Holocaust Resource Center and Diversity Council on Global Education and Citizenship at Kean University, Social Justice Matters and Union County Club - National Association of Negro Business & Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. and Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Center at Rutgers University - Newark.
