11:15 am - 12:15 pm
1391 Martine Avenue
Scotch Plains, NJ
Pete Seeger touched millions of people of all backgrounds worldwide with his music. But his music particularly resonated with people who had a strong social conscience. Spook had the incredible fortune of performing alongside Pete Seeger more than fifty times during the last ten years of Pete’s life. In this program, Spook will share songs and stories of Pete Seeger as well as other folk musicians of the 50s, 60s and 70s. The passion, purpose and spirit of folk music is alive and well in new songs that Spook has written himself over the years and is still writing today. So, please join us, sing along and help keep the flame alive! Sponsored by Suzanne Miller and Family in honor and in memory of Michael Miller.
