Pack the Truck!

Join us at the JCC as we Pack the Truck to support the food insecure and those in need in Union County!  Please bring your items to the JCC on Tuesday, November 29*!  If you would like to help pack the truck, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ will be at the JCC from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and again from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  

Requested items include:

Non-perishable food items (kosher preferred, but not required) including:

• Peanut butter and jelly
• Crackers, pasta, rice
• Non-sugar cereal (Cheerios, Rice or Corn Chex, Rice Krispies, etc.)
• Canned fruit or apple sauce
• Canned vegetables, beans, soup
• Tuna Fish
• Cooking oil, ketchup/mustard
• New toys for children of all ages for the holidays (new, unwrapped toys only, please)

Toiletries including:

• Shampoo/conditioner
• Soap/body wash
• Toothpaste/toothbrushes
• Baby wipes
• Deodorant
• New or gently used coats, jackets, hats and gloves

*If you are unable to drop off items on Giving Tuesday, there will be bins in the JCC vestibule beginning on Sunday, November 27.
