Learn about accessible programming at all ages and support services for families of individuals with disabilities and special needs in the upcoming year. Hosted by Beth Mitchell, JCC Director of Inclusion & Diversity.
Beth Mitchell, the JCC's Director of Inclusion and Diversity, has completed the SPAN Resource Parent and Special Education Resource Advocate programs. She is a licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 18 years of experience working with children ages 3-21 in both the public and out-of-district special education settings. During her tenure in the schools, Beth participated as an active Child Study Team member. Beth has also worked as a NJ Early Intervention provider through Children's Specialized Hospital. Additionally, Beth has worked in many adult settings including private practice, in-patient brain injury rehab, skills nursing facilities and hospice care and holds a dual Master's Certificate in Gerontological Studies. In her current role, Beth now oversees and facilitates all JCC programming around inclusion and diversity.
