This presentation will begin with a brief history of energy
use from past to present and then a look at what energy is
using basic physics. The talk will include a discussion of the various types of renewable energy available to our society
today.  Any discussion on energy use would not be complete without a look at the politics and economics behind why we are reluctant to move too quickly towards replacing oil and gas with cleaner and free renewable energy sources. This arts program is made possible in part by a 2022 HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of County Commissioners.
