During the first half of 2022, the New Museum in
New York City devoted its entire exhibition space to the
work of one artist, Faith Ringgold.  Suddenly they had problems of crowd control.  The irony is that Ringgold is hardly, at 93, a “new artist.”  Seen for the first time as a whole, the exhibition demonstrates the wide range and creative innovation of this
artist’s body of work.  Come on a tour of this extraordinary retrospective. (By the way, Ringgold lives in Englewood!)
