Events

Arlington National Cemetery honors the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, but too many other heroes have been forgotten.  Even a major motion picture does little to make Desmond Doss’ name resonate.  Other heroes whose stories are remembered include:  the Revolutionary War’s Joseph Morris, Vietnam’s Charles Watters, and all those at Jockey Hollow in New Jersey.  Everyone should know their stories and others, understand their “whys?” and be inspired. This arts program is made possible in part by a 2022 HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of County Commissioners.
