Kerry James Marshall is a black artist who early on in his career was determined to make art for museums. After all, when he was growing up, there were no black people on museum walls. This pioneering artist not only made it into the museum, but was given a one-person show at the Met in New York. Come visit this extraordinary exhibition. Sponsored by The Van Winkle Foundation.
