Q&A with Film Director and Producer, Trish Adlesic, on Thursday, February 24 • 7:00 p.m.

Jewish communities across the United States once again find themselves on edge in the wake of another attack on worshippers at a synagogue, this time in Colleyville, Texas. Join the JCC of Central NJ and Temple Emanu-El, Westfield for a community conversation and reflection of the film, A Tree of Life, as well as what is going on in our own backyard.

A Tree of Life creates a deeply personal portrait of the survivors, victims and the victims' family members of the Pittsburgh Synagogue attack, and brings into sharp focus the hate-based crisis that threatens our collective safety and democracy. Pittsburgh native Trish Adlesic weaves a remarkable story of unimaginable horror and loss but also of hope and a remembrance of those we lost. Viewers will experience first-hand how the lives of those directly affected have fundamentally changed and how the Pittsburgh community and the congregations set out on a path towards healing.

*A Tree of Life can be screened at your convenience on Elevent, an easy-to-access-and-use streaming service with a four-day viewing window beginning on Sunday, February 20 and ending on Thursday, February 24.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
