They never met during their years in vaudeville, but Fredrick Austerlitz and Virginia McGrath would become the most famous dancing duo in film history. In this multimedia talk, John Kenrick considers these two gifted stars, concentrating on the eight precious films they co-starred in. From Flying Down to Rio and Top Hat to their final reunion in Barkleys of Broadway, Astaire and Rogers overcame romantic misunderstandings with great songs and unforgettable dance routines. A joyous and loving tribute to a legendary team.
