S3434 was signed by Governor Murphy on June 16, 2021. It allows students who turned 21 during the 2020-21 school year to continue to receive special education, related services and transition services through the 2022-23 school year.
This workshop will provide an overview of key details about the bill for families of students with an IEP, especially those who turned 21 recently and those who will turn 21 during the 2021-22 school year. We will also address compensatory education services and share key points related to virtual vs. home instruction.
