Wednesday, October 13, 2021
1391 Martine Avenue
Scotch Plains, NJ
For the first time in its history, the amazing Frick Collection has moved from the mansion and has been relocated to the Breuer Building on Madison. While the mansion is being renovated curators have taken the opportunity to rehang the collection in exciting new ways. In addition the Frick has published a book of essays by 62 creative people (artists, dancers, writers, cartoonists) in which they select their favorite item from the collection and explain why they selected it. The book is entitled The Sleeve Should Be Illegal. Here is an opportunity to see this familiar collection through new eyes. Sponsored by The Van Winkle Foundation.
