The State of New Jersey provides funding and services for individuals with developmental disabilities through more than 225 agencies throughout the state. Accessing those services, however, requires careful planning as well as understanding how programs are administered by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) of the New Jersey Department of Human Services.

In this 30-minute webinar, Porzio's Crystal West Edwards and Elizabeth Shea will speak about New Jersey’s DDD system, focusing on:

• what every student aging out of the special education system and into the adult DDD system should know
• what are the key differences in the system during the COVID-19 pandemic and what can individuals and their families expect about when and how things will change

There will be a 30-minute question-and-answer session after the presentation.
