Calling all sports fans! In this interactive class, we will discuss the difference between ethical sportsmanship and unethical gamesmanship. We will look at examples from participants’ own experiences as athletes and/or fans, and we will debate whether specific examples from professional sports fall on the right or wrong side of the ethical line. For instance, is it ethical for a team that has been eliminated from the playoffs to try to lose their last game in order to get a higher draft pick? Come join the conversation! This arts program is made possible in part by a 2020 HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
