It’s mid-summer. What better way to cool off than to delve into the extraordinary world of the last ice age, when giant mammoths, bison and tigers roamed the North American landscape? On this journey through the Great Ice Age, we will explore a world of glaciers, land bridges and the beginnings of human migration to North America. Some of our destinations will be Siberia, Alaska, Yukon and the Great Lakes as we discuss the effects of this dramatic period in earth’s past. This arts program is made possible in part by 2020 HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
