Racial Equity 18-Day Challenge begins
Sunday, April 11, 2021
Virtual EventListen, learn and reflect on racial equity.
Sunday, April 11 – Sunday, May 2
Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ presents an 18-Day Challenge to learn and engage with Jewish community on issues surrounding racial injustice and the need for social change.
By committing to the challenge, you pledge to dedicate 15-20 minutes a day to learn and become aware of how racism and racial inequity has impacted American society. Together we will build more effective social justice habits and identify ways to dismantle racism and other forms of discrimination.
For three weeks, Federation will provide Challenge participants with a daily reading, podcast, or video for Monday through Friday. Saturday will be a day to reflect…and on Sunday the group will come together at 7:30 p.m. for an online discussion led by our diversity, equity and inclusion facilitator.
At the end of the 18 days, opportunities for service and advocacy will be provided.
