The Brooklyn Bridge represented the change from rural to urban America and symbolized modern America. Brooklyn Heights was the first commuter suburb in the United States and has some of the most outstanding brownstones in New York City. Marty will also talk about the first great battle in the American Revolution, The Battle of Brooklyn, which occurred at Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn. Sponsored by The Grotta Fund for Senior Care of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ.
