JCC Performing Arts Camp (JPAC)

Program at a Glance

Lights, camera, action!  JPAC campers spend their day at Terrill Middle School in Scotch Plains (5 minutes from the JCC) with Camp Yachad staff and professional instructors in a multi-disciplinary performing arts focused program.

JPAC Downstagers (entering 2nd through 4th grades)

• Spend the morning at Terrill Middle School honing your artistic craft with support from industry professionals
• Return to Camp Yachad for lunch and an afternoon of traditional camp activities including swim and rock wall!
• JPAC is designed as two dynamic & creative sessions culminating with an entertaining theatrical performance open to the camp community.

JPAC Upstagers (entering 5th through 8th grades)

• Spend the whole day at Terrill Middle School honing your artistic craft with support from industry professionals
• Head to NYC to see a Broadway show once per four-week session
• Round out each week with free swim and other favorite camp activities
• JPAC is designed as two dynamic & creative sessions culminating with an entertaining theatrical performance open to the camp community.

All this PLUS

• Participate in our camp-wide special event and theme days! (When at the JCC)
• Begin each day with a special Boker Tov (morning activity) and end each week with an exciting Shabbat celebration featuring our in-house band The Shabbatones!
• JPAC campers can split their enrollment between traditional day or travel camp as well as TEKI STEAM camp
• Transportation, lunch, and snacks are all included for JPAC!
