Our Adult Enrichment features a wide selection of topics four days a week including thoughtful and relevant adult education programs and series led by experienced professionals who engage with and offer participants their deep breadths of knowledge. It is an excellent way for adults to remain stimulated and social. Adult Enrichment is open to the community and adults of all ages who can pick and choose programs that interest them. Our Berg-Lieppe Senior Adult Program combines our Adult Enrichment programming with daily senior exercise options and freshly prepared Kosher lunches. Participants have the opportunity to connect, socialize and be physically and mentally stimulated.

Exercise can help maintain your mobility, balance, strength and flexibility. At the JCC, we offer light exercise classes from Monday - Thursday to help keep you fit and strong. All of our instructors are full trained to work with senior adults. We welcome all levels and encourage you to exercise at your own pace.

Boost energy and improve balance while strengthening muscles and halting or reversing bone loss. Stretching, strength training, range-of-motion and endurance work.
Exercise with Helene Baum
Tuesdays • 10:15 - 11:00 a.m.
This exercise program is designed to increase strength, balance, flexibility and maintain posture. This total body workout is in seated/and or standing positions and emphasizes active participation with bands, balls and weights. Stretching is included at both the beginning and end of class. All fitness levels are welcome.
Exercise with Colby Sheppard
Wednesdays • 10:15 - 11:00 a.m.
Participate at your own pace in either a seated and/or standing position. Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. We include toning exercises for muscle and bone strength and full body core strengthening to aide in mobility for the whole body. The class ends with stretching and relaxation moves. All fitness levels are welcome.
Chair Yoga with Karen Rosen
Thursdays • 10:15 – 11:00 a.m.
Chair yoga increases flexibility, strength and body awareness. When standing, the chair is used to help with and improve balance. Chair yoga also includes pranayama breathing techniques and meditation to promote focus, mental clarity and relaxation.
Ageless Grace with Kara Hodes-Wechsler
Fridays • October 16 - November 13 • 10:15 – 11:00 a.m.
Ageless Grace is a cutting-edge brain health fitness program based on the stimulation of neuroplasticity to support cognitive function and activate all five primary functions of the brain. These brain-changing movements also focus on the 21 physical skills needed for lifelong optimal function, such as mobility, balance, flexibility, strength and coordination. The program is designed to be practiced in a chair to stimulate the brain and body. Join Kara Hodes-Wechsler, Certified Ageless Grace® Educator and Trainer, and play with simple, natural movements to music. Anyone can participate at their own level of ability.
