Have you Met Newark? Tour

Thursday, October 11 • 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Join us for a fascinating hop on/hop off bus tour of Newark and learn about its rich history, its Jewish history and current vibrancy.  This tour, customized for our group, will include the Newark Public Library, the renovated Hahnes & Co. building, Ahavas Shalom, the oldest synagogue in Newark, the Weequahic Historic District and much more. We will get off the bus to explore. Lunch at Hobby’s Delicatessen. This tour is organized by two young transplanted urban planners, Emily Mantz and partner Antonio Valla. Reservations are needed by Thursday, October 4.

Join us for Mozart Piano Concerto No. 9 in E flat Major with 14 year old prodigy soloist pianist Johnson Li and Handel’s Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 5 in D Major.  Reservations are needed by Tuesday, October 16.

Trip to see QVC Behind the Scenes!

Wednesday, December 5 • 11:00 a.m.
Shopping, shopping, shopping.  At this state-of-the-art broadcasting facility, we will see and experience how QVC products are sourced, tested, brought to life on air and delivered to millions of QVC customers. There are views into QVC's studio space where we might see a QVC program in progress.  And of course…there will be plenty of time for shopping in the QVC store!  Enjoy delicious catered brunch at the JCC before we head out.  Register by Wednesday, November 28.
