Before the great black migration from the south, Harlem was the third largest Jewish settlement of the world. This lecture will include information about why the Jews settled in Harlem in the 1880s. Marty will talk about the following Harlem residents: Oscar Hammerstein I and II, Richard Rodgers, Milton Berle and more. And learn about Mt.
