Start the day at the beautiful Conservatory Gardens (weather permitting), enjoy lunch and then explore New York at Its Core: 400 years of New York City History at the Museum of the City of New York.  We will take a tour docent-led of this exhibit which introduces the full spectrum of the city’s metamorphosis from a vulnerable Dutch trading outpost to a world capital. Learn about the four fundamental themes that produced the city we know today: diversity, money, density and creativity. Bus pick up at the JCC of Central NJ Scotch Plains and B’Nai Israel in Millburn.  Space is limited.
