In her role as the JCC’s Director of Inclusion and Diversity, Beth is tasked with enhancing and expanding JCC programs and services for individuals with disabilities, as well as for older adults. Collaborating with other JCC staff and the Special Needs Committee, Beth oversees existing programs and services and drives efforts to develop new ones—all ensuring that our JCC is a truly inclusive center of community.
Beth’s career has spanned over 15 years, and she has served people with special needs at every age and stage of the life cycle. She holds professional licensure through the state of New Jersey and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association to practice Speech-Language Pathology and has served Union County and the surrounding communities for over 15 years in this capacity. Beth is certified as a NJ Early Intervention provider, providing therapeutic services to infants and toddlers with special needs from birth through age three. In addition, Beth is licensed by the Department of Education to provide related services to school age youth from preschool through age 21 with disabilities, with a focus on older youth with Developmental Disabilities and Autism. Beth’s background also includes working with older adults in rehabilitation centers, nursing homes and she has provided palliative care services through hospice at the end of the lifecycle. Over the span of her career, Beth has forged relationships with professionals in the field of inclusion and disability support services.
