Friends of Valley Brook is a grassroots group of volunteers who help provide much needed services and support to local veterans. We assist and work with the residents of Valley Brook Village. Valley Brook is a first of its kind VASH (Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing) housing community for homeless veterans, located on the Lyons Campus of the Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. We design services and experiences to improve the lives of this community. We utilize a creative approach to problem solving that arrives at new solutions tailored to meet their needs. It all begins with knowing the people we are serving. Our close relationships allow us to design a needs-based outreach that tries to serve each individual. We build, test and hone our programs until we get them right. Our volunteers assist in a variety of ways including transportation, tax prep, tutoring and day-to-day help. We are not a charity; we are an action network. Please bring us your time and talents.

Bridges connects the housed and homeless to establish relationships that lead to greater acceptance and understanding, nurse social and economic growth, ailment and well being.  Our Vision is the elimination of the social and economic divides between the housed and the homeless.

Thank you for your generosity!
