COVID TASK FORCE
A huge thanks to this dedicated group who, without a second thought, met continually during the early months of the pandemic to offer their expertise, ensure our financial stability, set our protocols and guide our re-opening.

We would also like to thank JCC member/board member Dr. Howard Kornfeld whose unwavering guidance, support and counsel throughout this pandemic has been amazing and invaluable. Dr. Kornfeld has picked up every single phone call from us (and there were plenty), answered every one of our questions (plenty of those too) and offered his thoughtful, expert advice as we strive to put the health and safety of our members and staff at the forefront of all that we do.
Thank you, Dr. Kornfeld. You have been an unbelievable partner to us!
FINANCIAL OVERVIEW
Prior to the pandemic, our JCC was headed for a financially successful fiscal year, driven by strong membership numbers, donor support and well-subscribed programs such as school and camp. Due to the forced closure of the JCC in mid-March, we experienced significant revenue losses beginning in March through early July.
We were fortunate to qualify for and receive a Paycheck Protection Plan Loan, as well as many donations of dues and tuition, generous donations from other donors and emergency support from Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ. Collectively, these resulted in a positive change in our unrestricted net assets of $202,559.
While the protracted nature of the pandemic continues to present financial challenges, we are prepared to meet these challenges through the strength of our fiscal management, the continued excellence of and demand of our programs and services, adherence to health safety guidelines and the steadfast support of our wonderful community.
