There are a lot of ways to get involved as a teen at the JCC. Come to JCC Teen Advisory Group Social Events, meet new teens in the area, get involved as a volunteer, take a college preparatory class and many more. Join thousands of other Jews as we take on Fifth Avenue and celebrate Israel! Then we'll head downtown for some fun in the Village!

Take action in your community with this NEW program! Featuring: Monthly leadership development and social action based meeting at the JCC, special workshops led by community professionals, 1-2 off-site field trips, participation in local social action and fundraising events, and lots of PIZZA and good times with other Jewish teens in the community!

Get your first taste of leadership training, meet with Lindsay (Youth and Teen Services Director) once a month at the JCC and play team building
games. Learn valuable leadership skills, meet other Jewish teens from the community and engage in exciting programming.

Teen Action Service Corps
The JCC offers high school students the leadership experience of a lifetime! Learn the value of volunteerism, social action and making a difference
in your community - all while learning vital leadership and job skills. Come find out how the JCC is creating a new T.A.S.C. program for grades 9 and 10 as well as an "upper classmen" program for grades 11 and 12.

Marci Schoenbach J.D., Ed.M, is a certified school and career counselor in Westfield, NJ. She is employed by the Westfield Public Schools and is an active volunteer with the I Have a Dream Program in Plainfield, NJ. Marci is a graduate of Columbia University Teachers College and has previously worked as a special education teacher. She is a long time member of the JCC and also served as the President of Temple Emanu-El from 2004-2006.

4th Annual Come A.L.I.V.E.
in the Community
Sunday, April 22 • 10:00 A – 4:00 P A.L.I.V.E. stands for Alliance – Leadership –
Involvement – Volunteerism – Energy Be part of this national day of service, spearheaded by JCC teens, and give back to the community in which you live! Book-ended by opening and closing ceremonies at the JCC, hundreds of teens will work together at various volunteer sites for a powerful day of service. Help make this year's Come A.L.I.V.E. the biggest and best it's ever been!

Red Cross Babysitter
Training Course for Ages 10+

Red Cross Certified Instructor
Learn the five components of becoming a successful
babysitter: Leadership, Safety, Basic Care, First Aid, and Business Basics. This course will teach potential babysitters about their role and responsibilities, as well as decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Through group activities, role-playing scenarios and
movies, you will learn the key to becoming a successful
babysitter. Babysitting handbooks and a babysitting
safety and first aid kit will be distributed to all participants. NEW! All participants will receive 2 year babysitting certification after finishing this course.
