Senior Adult Lunch & Social Programs

The Senior Social Program, which meets Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, is included in the Senior Social Membership and open to adults 65+.  The Senior Social program provides a wide range of activities and an opportunity to develop and maintain friendships.  Community participants are welcome to come for a trial period.  A well balanced Kosher meal is served three days a week.  The Senior Social Program is supported by generous grants from the Union County Division on Aging and other foundations.

Transportation
Round-trip, door-to-door transportation to the JCC is available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for most senior residents of Union County.  This transportation is provided by the Union County Paratransit System and the JCC.  There is a small fee per trip.

Kosher Lunch
The JCC is a designated Kosher nutrition site, funded by the Union County Division on Aging.  Kosher lunches are served to seniors on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Please note that we need notice at least 24 hours in advance for seniors planning to have lunch here.  Menus are published one month in advance.  This program is open to the community; a small voluntary contribution is recommended.

Services & Referrals
The JCC works closely with Jewish Family Services, the Union County Paratransit System, the Union County Division on Aging and other agencies to provide a full range of services to senior participants.
