Play Zone

The Ellen Geller Play Zone Center babysitting service is a warm, safe and stimulating “drop in” child care option for children ages 7 weeks through 11.  Play Zone is staffed by mature, qualified, certified teachers and teaching assistants. Parents do not need to stay in the building while their children are in Play Zone babysitting, making it the perfect place for the kids while you are busy exercising in our state-of-the-art Fitness and Wellness Center, attending a JCC program or running errands.

Play Zone babysitting features age-appropriate areas with interactive activities for all children. From baby swings and bouncy seats to our staff-guided activities such as arts & crafts and dramatic play, you can feel comfortable knowing that your children are well cared for in our clean, safe and fun environment.  Play Zone also has a Wii to help older children stay engaged during their stay.

Play Zone Fee
$4.50 per hour per child
Please note that there is a 2 hour time limit in the Ellen Geller Play Zone Center.  Purchase Play Zone babysitting hours at our Member Services Desk or visit Ellen Staple, Play Zone Manager, in our Play Zone room.  Please note Saturday hours must be pre-purchased.

The Ellen Geller Play Zone program is named in memory of Ellen Geller, a beloved JCC staff member who inspired and nurtured children under her care.
