Na’arim is Hebrew for “youth.” Na'arim campers (entering 5th and 6th grades) embark on travel adventures near and far through this interactive travel program. Na’arim is the perfect program for adolescent campers interested in a variety of activities. Travel includes trips designed solely for Na’arim. Campers travel 4 days a week and spend Fridays with other travel campers at the Springfield campsite for special events. 

It’s Na’arim – It’s Unbelievable!

  • Daily travel includes rafting, amusement and water parks, a Broadway show, fishing and more!
  • Overnight and extended trips each session
  • Highlights include 3 days of full-on Maccabiah
  • A lively Shabbat program at the JCC in Scotch Plains concludes each week

Sample Overnight Trip Itinerary (3 nights, 4 days)

  • Session 1:  NJY Camps (recreational overnight camp setting), Boston, MA (Boston Aquarium, Fenway Park Tour, Fanueil Hall)
  • Session 2:  Washington, DC (Air and Space Museum, Washington National Zoo, Memorial tours, Smithsonian American History Museum), Club Getaway (recreational overnight camp setting)

All trips subject to change

Staff Adult Unit Director and Assistant Unit Director supervise staff and campers. Experienced Senior Counselors, trained in travel procedures and safety, work directly with campers.
