Teens, commemorate Yom HaShoa
Holocaust Remembrance Day
Teen Photo Contest
Open to all teens in the community, grades 6-12
Contest runs Monday, March 3 – Monday, April 14
If you’re a teen at our JCC or in our community, here’s your chance to commemorate Yom HaShoa and show that we, as a Jewish community, are stronger and more confident than ever – a testament to never allowing a Holocaust to happen again. Submit a photo of yourself, your friends or your family that demonstrates your Jewish identity, along with a caption (140 characters or less) that describes the photo. Use your creativity…your Jewish identity shines through at school, in your volunteer work, at holidays or just eating a bagel with friends at a local deli! Prizes include an overnight trip to Washington DC and more! We will create a photo gallery from all the submissions, and winners will be announced at the Gallery Opening/Yom HaShoa Commemoration Event on Sunday, April 27 at the JCC. Get creative…don’t wait…contact Lindsay Napchen at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on how to enter!
