Steve DeAngelis, General Manager

Steve earned a Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Sport Management at Southern New Hampshire University.  He completed his undergraduate education at East Stroudsburg University while obtaining a B.S. in Sport Management.  Steve is C.S.C.S. certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  He’s also CPR /AED and First Aid certified through the Red Cross Association.  Steve also specializes in sport specific  programming through his time as a college football player at East Stroudsburg University

 


Deborah Price, Fitness Director
Debi has worked in fitness for over 25 years, 13 of which have been here at the JCC.  Certifications include: ACE, Spinning™, Punk Rope, HIIT, and Pilates.


 

Vincent Costantino, Personal Trainer
Vincent is certified by WITS and holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Bloomfield College.  Vin leads the Senior Walking Club Friday mornings.


 

Anna Sapozhnikova, Personal Trainer 
Anna, from Odessa in the Ukraine, turned her passion for fitness and dancing into a career.  While in the Ukraine, she worked part time as a personal trainer and ballroom dance instructor and when she came to the U.S. in 2011, she got her National Academy of Sports Medicine personal training certification and has been a personal trainer since.  Anna has a B.S. in Pedagogy and an M.S. in Linguistics.


Jeffrey Calabrese, Personal Trainer
Jeffrey recently joined the JCC with several years experience as a strength and conditioning coach for young athletes with a B.S. in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science and certifications including Kettlebell (Crossfit and the World Kettlebell Club), NSCA, NJAHPERD and WITS. Jeff currently teaches Kickboxing.


Mindi Samer, Personal Trainer
Mindi holds personal certifications in addition to Spinning™  and Pilates.  Mindi currently teaches Spinning™, Girl Power and Boy Power.


Shamil Abdullah, Fitness Staff
Shamil joined the team in January 2012 with several years experience working at the JCC, wearing many different hats.  He is studying to get certified as a personal trainer.


 

Shari Kussner, Group Exercise Instructor
Shari has been a fitness professional for over 25 years. She is certified to teach Spinning™, Pilates, cardio, strength, TRX and WillPower and Grace classes.


 

Karen Rosen, Group Exercise Instructor
Karen teaches yoga, Spinning™ and low impact with certifications from ACE, PT & GEI, Johnny G., Yoga Teacher Training Certification, Yoga for the Special Child and Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program.  She is also a STOP and RELAXÒ practitioner.

Mark Ceicura, Personal Trainer
Mark is a certified personal trainer throught the National Strength and Conditioning Association and also holds degrees in personal training and nutritional consulting from the National Personal Training Institute.  Mark focuses on functional movement and strength conditioning basics.  As a former high school and collegiate athlete, Mark helps young athletes reach peak physical performance in their given sport, as well as building a strong foundation that will work to prevent future injuries.  He believes in order to achieve sustainable fitness goals and prevent injury, you must begin with movement patterns and exercises that impact every day life.  Mark is working towards his Bachelors degree in accounting at Rutgers University.
