Kid Zone After-School Programs

We have after school covered!   

THE PROGRAM:  Kid Zone is a state-licensed, secular, safe, nurturing and fun after-school environment. In Kid Zone, we place children in different classrooms depending on their age and grade. Certified teachers and mature college-aged assistants (typically education majors) staff each class­room and provide individualized homework assistance and supervision.

In addition to homework time, the children also have the opportunity to participate in electives ranging from swim­ming classes in our indoor pool, art classes in our art studio or sports options in our full-sized, air-conditioned gymnasium. A
healthy snack is served every day, and teen tutoring assistance is available if needed for one-on-one guidance.

TRANSPORTATION: Kid Zone provides bus transportation from all area elemen­tary, private and middle schools, and there are also options designed to accommodate a range of after-care needs. For example, there are transportation-only options for pick-up at the JCC if you can’t quite make afternoon pick-up. We will also take children from the JCC to local Hebrew schools or take them to the JCC for Barracudas swim team practice.  Kid Zone also provides flexible hours depending on your after-school schedule and is also open when schools dismiss early for half days.

3-4 years:  Monday – Friday from 2:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Kindergarten-Grade 8: Monday – Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., option to choose specific days
