Dance & Theater Arts Enrichment Class Descriptions
We welcome members whose children do not attend the JCC preschool, Kid Zone participants and non-members

Broadway Bound Musical Theater
From Annie to Mary Poppins to the Lion King, this is the stage for your musical theater kid. These little performers learn the combined basic techniques of singing, dancing and acting. They will come home signing popular Broadway show tunes with some cute choreography to boot.

Dance Combo (Ballet/Jazz/Tap)
Switching up styles from ballet to jazz to tap, we introduce fundamental techniques of dance to boys and girls in a FUN, but effective way, keeping the students engaged while having a blast! (No Tap for the 3s)

Hip Hop
Hip hop, don’t stop, groovin’ to the beat; that’s what we’ll do every time we meet! Leaping, turning, rocking across the floor; every week, when time is up, your child will beg for more!

Move ‘n Groove for 2s
Introduce your little mover to his or her first JCC creative movement experience, filled with music, rhythm, props, instruments, improvisational storytelling to music and more!

Musical Theater (Grades 1-3)
If your child won’t stop singing songs from Annie, Mary Poppins or The Lion King, then this is the place for them. Learn the words and choreography to some of their all-time favorite Broadway shows, while learning a little bit of musical theater history.

So You Think You Can Dance! (Grades 1-3)
From hip hop to lyrical, Zumba to Broadway, learn versatile styles of dance from week-to-week, keeping your dancer on his or her toes and as fit as can be!
